The new study represents the opinions of over 3,000 respondents ages 14-54 from across all PPM markets.<\/p>\n<p>Findings of the study reveal that a full 60% of likely ratings respondents identified say they listen to radio at work.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1683\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/chart1.jpg?resize=459%2C199\" alt=\"\" width=\"459\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/chart1.jpg?resize=300%2C130 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/chart1.jpg?w=670 670w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 459px) 100vw, 459px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition, at-work listeners are more likely to listen to terrestrial radio for more hours and more days.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1684\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/chart2.jpg?resize=440%2C202\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/chart2.jpg?resize=300%2C138 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/chart2.jpg?w=703 703w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>EVP\/Research Insights Leigh Jacobs explained, \u201cWe\u2019ve chosen to start with a dive into at-work listening because the market for audio entertainment at work has never been bigger (or younger). Fully 60% of the ratings-susceptible respondents we\u2019ve identified say they listen at work. Savvy operators have been playing to this opportunity for decades, but the competition has never been more fierce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EVP\/Marketing Mike O\u2019Connor added: \u201cIn these new data, 24% say they spend at least an hour a day with terrestrial \u2013 but that number jumps to 41% among those who listen at work. 41% say they listen at least 5 days a week \u2013 but that jumps to 61% among those who listen at work. That\u2019s the potential for significant lift for programmers and marketers who play to this opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pres.\/CEO Carolyn Gilbert noted, \u201cOur Ratings Prospects Study 14 revealed a significant opportunity for stations.
