Make Decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Strategy is not just about thinking; it\u2019s also about executing. In other words, there comes a time to stop planning and actually make a decision!<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve started generating ideas and making connections between them, you\u2019ll have to start making decisions about what to do next. And because you\u2019re a busy radio executive probably limited by time and\/or resources, that means prioritising.<\/p>\n<p>To execute your strategy to perfection, you may have to abandon something you\u2019re currently doing.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, the worst thing you can do is to allow your strategic thinking to go to waste because you haven\u2019t been able to make a decision about what to do.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Finally a quote from former US President, Theodore Roosevelt: <strong><em>\u201cIn any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By David Kidd, BPR This article is the final one in a six-part series.
