{"id":3918,"date":"2022-07-07T15:25:29","date_gmt":"2022-07-07T05:25:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bprworld.com\/?p=3918"},"modified":"2022-07-07T15:26:32","modified_gmt":"2022-07-07T05:26:32","slug":"music-mix-personalities-the-main-drivers-for-radio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bprworld.com\/de\/news\/music-mix-personalities-the-main-drivers-for-radio\/","title":{"rendered":"Music Mix &#038; Personalities: The Main Drivers for Radio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to BPR\u2019s latest study on the All-Audio Listening Landscape, a study which looked at how radio has been performing alongside its\u2019 rival listening mediums, 41% of audio listeners say a station\u2019s music mix is their main reason to listen to radio.<\/p>\n<p>4000 interviews were conducted for this study with the sample consisting of 18\u201354-year-old men &amp; women, demographically weighted to each market, who had listened to some form of audio in the past week. Each market\u2019s sample included 500 respondents.<\/p>\n<p>Key international cities were chosen to provide a wider perspective and a broader listener base. Those cities surveyed being:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>London, United Kingdom<\/li>\n<li>Berlin, Germany<\/li>\n<li>Paris, France<\/li>\n<li>Prague, Czech Republic<\/li>\n<li>Moscow, Russia<\/li>\n<li>Stockholm, Sweden<\/li>\n<li>Madrid, Spain<\/li>\n<li>Sydney, Australia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite music streaming providing more choice and control around music, the majority of listeners are still mainly coming to radio for the music, and it seems apparent that a strong music offering is key for most station\u2019s ongoing success.
