The study was conducted with 18-54 Men &amp; Women, who had listened to some form of audio in the past week.<\/p>\n<p>As a global study, it featured 500 respondents from 9 different key international cities to give a wider perspective on the trends in audio listening across many western markets, with the results of all 9 markets averaged as the total used in this report. Those cities are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>London, United Kingdom<\/li>\n<li>Berlin, Germany<\/li>\n<li>Paris, France<\/li>\n<li>Prague, Czech Republic<\/li>\n<li>Stockholm, Sweden<\/li>\n<li>Madrid, Spain<\/li>\n<li>Sydney, Australia<\/li>\n<li>Los Angeles, USA<\/li>\n<li>New York, USA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When asked what form of media they had listened to in the past week, the <strong>4,500<\/strong> survey participants returned some interesting results:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>68%<\/strong> listened to Radio<\/li>\n<li><strong>64%<\/strong> streamed music<\/li>\n<li><strong>47%<\/strong> listened to YouTube<\/li>\n<li><strong>37%<\/strong> listened to podcasts<\/li>\n<li><strong>18%<\/strong> listened to audiobooks<\/li>\n<li><strong>12%<\/strong> listened to personal media<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5481 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/graph1.png?resize=722%2C255\" alt=\"\" width=\"722\" height=\"255\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/graph1.png?resize=300%2C106 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/graph1.png?resize=768%2C271 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bprworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/graph1.png?w=928 928w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 722px) 100vw, 722px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Radio, still leads the All-Audio listening market and has continued to overtake on-demand listening &#8211; which has seen a huge rise in popularity over the last few years, which stands as a testament to the power of radio.
