Just two years ago, AI could write basic articles and answer simple questions. Today it can create videos, write software, analyse complex data, conduct research, generate realistic voices and act as a personal assistant capable of handling sophisticated tasks in seconds.

What’s driving this rapid improvement? Three factors: more powerful computing, better AI models, and access to vast amounts of data. Each new generation of AI is becoming faster, more accurate, more creative and more capable of reasoning through problems.

Over the next 12 months we can expect AI to become even more personalised and proactive. Rather than simply responding to requests, AI systems will increasingly anticipate needs, manage projects, conduct research independently and integrate seamlessly into our daily workflows.

For businesses, AI will become less of a novelty and more of a necessity. Companies that embrace it will gain significant advantages in productivity, customer service, marketing and decision-making. Those that ignore it risk falling behind competitors who can achieve more with fewer resources.

For the media industry, the opportunities are enormous. AI will help create content, analyse audience behaviour, identify trends, personalise listener experiences and automate routine tasks. However, the human elements that audiences value most….creativity, empathy, humour, storytelling and trust….will become even more important.

The biggest mistake is to view AI as a technology of the future. The future has already arrived. The real question is not whether AI will change our industry, but how quickly we can learn to use it to our advantage.

By David Kidd, BPR If you think Artificial Intelligence is impressive today, there is a […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

1

post-7556","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorised

https://i0.wp.com/bprworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/pexels-tara-winstead-83864401-scaled.jpg?fit=2560%2C1707
["GET
