COVID-19, like all viruses is a microscopic parasite. Viruses lack the capacity to thrive and reproduce outside of a host body.
Therefore, viruses don’t want to kill the host….. in COVID’s case, that’s the human race…..as they need us to survive. However, to continue to survive, viruses mutate into different forms to stay ahead of our immune systems. Ahead of the game.
That’s why we’ve seen the original Corona Virus mutate into Delta and then Omicron, plus the other variants along the way.
Now, a virus doesn’t have a brain….it doesn’t possess the power of logical thought or reasoning.
But here it is managing to adapt to an ever changing landscape…. vaccines, our immunity etc…to survive.
We, as humans do have a brain and do possess the power of logical thought.
But time after time we see a sporting team that’s losing sticking to the same game plan thinking things will change. They don’t.
Time after time in the world of radio we see stations that languish in the ratings throwing the same content together survey after survey. And survey after survey the ratings stay the same. Nothing changes…. they’re still at the bottom.
Albert Einstein once said “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”
Consider this: if something without a brain can adapt to a changing environment, why do we, as supposedly intelligent life on earth, at times find it so difficult?
